How do we install it?

Existing light levels are recorded before the retrofit, so the result can be compared against the coverage the site actually had.

Replacements are matched on distribution rather than on lumen output, because a different beam pattern changes coverage even at identical brightness.

The whole property is converted in one pass where possible, since a partial retrofit leaves visible color mismatches across adjacent areas.

Existing controls are checked for compatibility, as some older dimming and switching gear does not drive LED loads correctly.

Fixture spacings are held to the existing pole positions where the new optics allow, since new poles trigger a full engineering review that the retrofit was chosen to avoid.

Drivers are specified with a surge rating suited to the site utility profile, because retrofit drivers that fail early on rural feeds usually failed on a lightning transient.

Existing pole conductors are megger-tested before retrofit, as a run with degraded insulation drops any new fixture into the same failure pattern within a season.
